Pic is a static image-sharing site that fully encrypts all uploaded images. They are then decrypted on demand. Before the images are encrypted, they are converted to WebP and all metadata is removed.

The administrator can view all uploaded images and manage them. Images that do not comply with the rules at the bottom of this page will be deleted without warning.
Pic's source code is open to everyone and can be found at git.airikr.me/airikr/Pic.
The AI has written all the code for processing an image and may need to be reviewed by someone with extensive knowledge of JavaScript and cryptography. Once the code has been improved and approved, all AI watermarks will be removed.

How it works

  1. The image or images (up to 4 at a time) are converted to WebP and all metadata is removed at client level.
  2. The image or images is encrypted using AES-256-CBC with PKCS#7 padding at client level.
    • The encryption key is generated using PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA-256, with 100,000 iterations and a 16-byte salt.
  3. The encrypted file is sent to the server and processed at server level.
  4. Each image is assigned its own encryption key, which acts as a token.
